Welcome to NorthByLori Studio
Creativity Made Possible
Hello, creative friend!
I’m Lori, an educator and creative problem-solver—and the founder of NorthByLori Studio. I created this space to help everyday creatives learn new skills, explore modern creative tools, and turn their ideas into projects they are proud to share.
I know how overwhelming creating can feel when instructions skip steps, technology refuses to cooperate, or everyone else seems to have it figured out. Here, you do not have to be an expert—and you do not have to learn alone.
Our Mission
NorthByLori Studio’s mission is to make creativity feel possible through clear education, practical resources, and genuine encouragement. Whether you create for joy, make gifts for people you love, or dream of growing a creative business, you deserve guidance that is understandable, useful, and welcoming.
Our Vision
My vision is to build more than a website or shop. NorthByLori Studio is becoming a supportive community where creatives learn, experiment, and grow together through creating. It is a place to ask questions, share progress, learn from mistakes, celebrate wins, and build confidence—one project at a time.
What We’ll Explore Together
The studio is growing alongside its community. In addition to Cricut, Silhouette, digital design, paper crafting, foiling, and other creative projects, a new xTool M2 laser is coming to the studio. I’ll share the learning process honestly—from setup and first tests to finished projects, troubleshooting, and new ways the laser can support both personal creativity and creative businesses.

Keep an Eye on Your Inbox
Some emails will teach, some will inspire, and some will include a little creative gift. Watch for messages marked as subscriber freebies so you do not miss new SVGs and other resources. If this is your first email, adding NorthByLori Studio to your contacts can help future messages reach your inbox.
Most of all, I hope this becomes a place where you feel comfortable trying, learning, and creating in your own way. There is room for you here, no matter where you are starting. We are not simply completing projects—we are building skills, confidence, and community together through creativity.
Thank you for joining me at the beginning. I’m excited to see what we create together.
With creativity,
Lori
